Whew, what a crazy few weeks it’s been! I’ll be sharing my experiences and reflections from New York Fashion Week soon, but wanted to post this little two-step beauty trick in the meantime.
Between a trip to Glacier, a dear friend’s wedding in Bend, OR, and my week in NY, it’s been a rush of a month. The first thing that I did when I got home?
And it was so good. Traveling is wonderful, but there’s something so comforting about being back in the routines of home.
As with anything else in my life, I’m always looking for ways to simplify. While my beauty routine might be more complicated than some (remember what I said: minimalism is relative), even I can appreciate a good shortcut.
So while there are a lot of elaborate beauty tutorials online, this isn’t one of them. I can’t be bothered to do all the crazy sculpting of actual contouring, but I like being able to highlight my face with this easy two-step trick. Sky-high cheekbones ahead!
All you need are two products and a slim rectangular (not round) brush (my favorite’s the NARS Ita Brush).
Check it out, and let me know in the comments: do you have any beauty shortcuts to share?
